Adam Despang

I am a West Point graduate and former Army Field Artillery Officer that had recently pivoted to federal service to work on climate change in international development through the private sector. I'm looking for positions in community resilience, Disaster Response, and climate risk analysis through wargaming.

My experience since the Army includes internships at the State Department Bureau of Energy Resources and in Congress. I've also run a national security program that looked at the National Security implications of climate change on Florida. As an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellow I evaluated the American Red Cross and provided an energy management plan to help them reduce costs and emissions.

When I have time to volunteer I have spent a considerable amount of time with Team Rubicon deploying domestically and once internationally to support communities after natural disasters.
