I worked with the Knowledge Management team of the USAID-funded Strengthening Partnerships, Resources, and Innovations in Nutrition Globally (SPRING) Project, supporting multiple teams and country offices in tasks related to content preparation, publishing, editing, translation, design, and knowledge capture activities. This included dedicated time on the project's Linking Agriculture and Nutrition team, as well as support and facilitation of various working groups in the field of Global Nutrition, such as the Accelerated Reduction Effort on Anaemia (AREA) Community of Practice, and the Ag2Nut Community of Practice.
As part of my role, I hosted and managed global meetings, events, and online knowledge exchanges for practitioners across the nutrition and health fields. These included the SPRING global webinars, which regularly reached over 300 registrants (averaging ~150 attendees live and ~120 recording views). Webinar preparation included promotion of the event, preparation of the Adobe Connect technology, editing content, moderating the event as it took place, and packaging all follow up materials and recordings after the fact. I also hosted live and hybrid events with the SPRING Project and JSI, and online knowledge exchanges for the AREA and Ag2Nut communities of practice.
I also wrote and implemented a strategy to communicate with target groups in the Kyrgyz Republic via social media to share improved nutrition and health practices via video, articles, and participatory discussions, eventually reaching 200,000 people (over a fifth of Kyrgyz people with internet access who indicated interest in learning more about health, nutrition, and food security).
Within the communications aspect of Knowledge Management, I also supported design and editing of various project documents and tools, including online interactive tools, especially management of animated video production process in my capacity as a member of the project's Linking Agriculture and Nutrition team.
