About

I am a global program and policy leader with over 15 years of experience advancing governance, human rights, and social impact across Africa, Europe, and Asia. As a senior practitioner with USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI), I directed democracy-protection and stabilization efforts in Sudan, Niger, Ukraine, and North Macedonia. I have contributed to aid efforts in 11 additional countries across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. In these roles, I scaled initiatives from $6M to $116M, managed over $186M in funding, and authored more than 100 briefings and strategies for senior U.S. officials and the National Security Council.

My expertise lies in bridging policy, practice, and innovation — designing adaptive grantmaking systems, coordinating legal, digital, and communications support during conflict, and building coalitions that respond effectively to urgent crises while reinforcing long-term democratic resilience. With Filipina, Ukrainian, and Italian roots, I bring a cross-cultural perspective shaped by family histories of resistance and democratic struggle. Looking ahead, I remain committed to applying my experience to the future of corporate social responsibility, effective philanthropy, and ethical AI — ensuring that innovation and resources are deployed responsibly and in service of human dignity.
