About

I’m a consumer-protection lawyer who went from enforcing the law at the FTC and CFPB to opening my own firm, Power to the People Law. My work is simple in aim and hard in practice: help homeowners and bank customers push back when the system pushes them around, whether through mortgage-servicing errors, unauthorized charges and bank-dispute refunds, or fine-print tricks.

I believe we live with a two-tiered legal system. I opened my doors to help close that distance—one client, one case, one policy change at a time. I bring federal enforcement experience, trial-ready discipline, and plain-spoken advocacy that meets people where they are.

I’m open to serving on mission-driven boards, like nonprofits, consumer coalitions, watchdog groups, and public-interest ventures. I’m also available for volunteering, speaking, and media interviews (on or off the record). If your organization needs a voice that blends consumer insight with compliance and credibility, I’m your “translate the law to human” person. The ex-watchdog who is still watching.
