Brendan P. McCarthy

I served as an AUSA in Montana for almost ten years in both the criminal and civil sections.

I now am a litigator with the firm Sattiraju & Tharney in the Princeton, NJ area. I represent individuals and businesses in commercial litigation and other civil matters in state and federal court. Some recent accomplishments include:

-obtained dismissal of case against client in federal court involving negligence claims seeking over $1 million in damages

-obtained partial summary judgment in favor of client resulting in six figure judgment in client's favor

-successfully appealed dismissal of client's case resulting in remand back to trial court

I also represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases including those involving severe and catastrophic injuries.

Additionally, I have extensive experience writing and arguing appeals. I have written appellate briefs in cases before the New Jersey Supreme Court, New Jersey Appellate Division and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. And I have argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals seven times.
