About

I like to address really difficult, aspirational challenges with motivated people. As a Foreign Service Officer for the United States Agency for International Development, I spent 14 years managing teams to improve economic growth strategies, trade and business competitiveness in challenging markets: Afghanistan, Central Asia, India, and Ethiopia. Prior to that I pioneered consumer-driven strategic design in Silicon Valley, and founded several start-ups in consumer ethnography, specialty chemicals and media. All of my work synthesizes my training in Anthropology and Business Administration. Over the past year, I’ve focused on learning how to use artificial intelligence for research in cloud environments.
