About
I spent 16 years as a Public Health Analyst and Health Communication Specialist at CDC, working across the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control and the National Center for Environmental Health. My work spanned policy analysis, communications, content review, budget management, FOIA processing, and cross-center liaison work, including engagement with tribal health partners.
In 2026, I founded Indigo Foundry LLC www.indigo-foundry.com, a boutique web studio building custom sites, accessibility audits, and data visualization work for small business and nonprofit clients. I'm also completing a software engineering training program to formalize the skills I built running my own studio.
What carries over from public health to software: systems thinking, translating technical work for non-technical stakeholders, and writing documentation that other people can actually use. I hold an Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health.
