Principal Software Engineer of Public Benefit Software

I bring a wealth of experience in system architecture, software engineering, CI/CD automation, system modernization, and more, and look forward to discussing the challenges faced by your organization and understanding how I might help you solve them.
With over two decades experience building, modifying, and modernizing software systems to serve citizens and customers, I’ve worked in many computer languages and software stacks, many organizational contexts, many sectors, and many roles. I focus my efforts on projects that serve those around me, from a decade of service in federal government to near a decade each in non-profit and commercial settings.
At work, I’ve mentored and coached teams, while on the side, I’ve taught university computer science and volunteered mentoring competitive student robotics teams. I also dedicate volunteer time to non-profit Board service for missions I believe in and dedicate time building open source software on projects that interest me.
