About

I’m a trilingual government affairs professional with seven years of experience in international relations, economic development, and policy analysis. I’ve worked with U.S. federal agencies (State Department, USAID, Peace Corps, etc.), foreign governments (El Salvador, Colombia, Bangladesh, Mozambique, etc.), and Fortune 500 and Global 1000 companies (Cargill, PepsiCo, DSM-Firmenich, etc.) to conduct economic research, manage complex projects, and communicate policy issues. My experience spans the public, private, and non-profit sectors, as well as eight countries on four continents.

I specialize in:

+ Economic Policy Analysis
+ Research and Data Analysis
+ Project Management
+ Communications
+ Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management
+ Strategy Development

At USAID, I served as an internal consultant and specialist in agribusiness and global markets, advising embassies, foreign governments, and multinational corporations on topics ranging from trade compliance and corporate sustainability to foreign investment frameworks and economic growth strategies.

While completing a master’s degree at the University of Denver, I conducted original research on technological innovation in the aviation industry, contributed to proprietary datasets modeling global power and conflict at the Pardee Institute, and led the development of a database tracking Chinese foreign direct investment (FDI) for the State Department. Before that, I served with the Peace Corps in Colombia, advising small businesses, microfinance groups, and local government on best practices in financial management and entrepreneurship. Early in my career, I provided policy and communications services to companies and nonprofits for the public affairs firm, Kivvit (now Avoq), and worked for the financial news company, TheStreet.

Selected achievements:
+ Facilitated a $2.2 billion public-private partnership for sustainable agriculture, launched at COP28
+ Leveraged performance metrics to improve the financial management of an ~$800M portfolio of economic development programs
+ Developed global power and conflict models in support of the Elie Wiesel Act of 2018
+ Collaborated with local government to lead a community development program that reached 1,000+ entrepreneurs, business owners, and community organizers

I hold a master’s degree in Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from Boston University.
