About

I am an experienced aerospace engineer and mission manager seeking a position in project management, systems engineering, or government sales. I am located in Kansas City, so I am open to opportunities in the Kansas City area, or remote positions.

I am a lifelong space enthusiast and most recently served as a Mission Manager for the NASA Launch Services Program, where I gained experience in project management, launch services, and payload integration. As part of my role, I managed the CubeSat Launch Initiative (CSLI), providing launches for educational CubeSats across the country. My work involved extensive experience in government procurements, having participated in the vetting of proposals and the selection of contractors for existing and emerging launch vehicles.

My past experience also includes launch site integration, safety, and systems engineering. I look forward to contributing to pursuits that have a great impact for humanity throughout my career.

Program and Project ManagementAerospace Engineering

Served as the primary interface for assigned missions, and led interdisciplinary teams to procure launch services, integrate, and launch small satellites into orbit on a variety of launch vehicles, some to deploy from the International Space Station.

Missions managed:

-Assigned spacecraft missions on the VADR contract: PREFIRE (launched successfully on back-to-back Rocket Lab Electron launches from New Zealand in 2024), and QuickSounder (scheduled to launch on a dedicated Firefly Alpha at Vandenberg in 2026).

- The CubeSat Launch Initiative (CSLI), providing launches for small satellite missions from academic, non-profit, and NASA projects. CSLI successfully launched over 60 CubeSats during this span, with over 70 CubeSats in progress in February 2025.

Led development of the Statement of Work for the VADR launch services contract (max value of $300M) as both the Mission Manager and Launch Site Integration Manager. Served on the Source Evaluation Board to select the pool of companies eligible to bid on individual missions.

Developed and maintained a Smartsheet database to manage schedules, status, and mission-specific data across 200+ CubeSat projects, increasing situational awareness and streamlining the production of periodic data products.

Implemented process efficiencies for CSLI that significantly reduced the required personnel time, thus overcoming external forces that threatened the initiative.

Interfaced regularly with NASA Headquarters and other government agencies on topics pertaining to satellites, rideshare, and launch services.

Achieved highest possible performance rating each year starting 2021.

Received a Certificate of Commendation in 2024 for developing and implementing an efficient solution for re-manifesting of CSLI missions.
