I was a prosecutor in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in New York for 26 years. I became the Division Chief of Investigations and supervised the investigative bureaus of the office. I have extensive experience in all phases of investigations and security issues in a broad array of matters. I was also a Special United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York and prosecuted complex Organized Crime cases.
I was also convicted of Obstruction of Justice and sentenced to 5 years in federal prison. I served my sentence at FCI Beaumont, Texas. I became fully familiar with the workings of the Federal Bureau of Prisons from first hand exposure. I no longer practice law.
Now I am a consultant for individuals facing post conviction issues including sentence mitigation, preparing defendants and their families for a prison sentence, challenges during incarceration, administrative remedies, BOP sentence calculation errors, working toward early pre release and reentry. Inmates and prospective inmates face many difficulties. I bring 26 years experience in law enforcement as a prosecutor and personal experience with the workings of the Federal Bureau of Prisons as well as knowledge of life in one of the country’s worst run prisons.
