I am a digital trust, cybersecurity, and risk management leader with a background spanning the military, public sector, and private enterprise. My career began as an officer in the Turkish Armed Forces, where I gained experience in strategic leadership, risk assessment, and cybersecurity, later contributing to intelligence analysis and risk management at NATO’s international headquarters.
Transitioning to the public sector, I served as Head of Internal Audit at Bakırköy Municipality, establishing and leading the internal audit function to enhance transparency and governance. In the private sector, I took on leadership roles, including Enterprise Risk Management Director at Paribu, where I built the company’s fraud risk and cybersecurity framework, and Cybersecurity Services Leader at SabancıDx, strengthening businesses' digital security posture. At EY Turkey, I focused on IT risk, compliance, and digital transformation strategies for multinational corporations.
Currently, I drive fintech innovation as Strategy and Business Development Leader at Fintech Istanbul and contribute to global governance initiatives as a Board Member at CSA Türkiye and an ISACA Emerging Technology Advisory Group Member. As a COBIT trainer and mentor, I provide GRC and IT audit training to professionals, while leading Clovera.io, where I help businesses navigate regulatory challenges like DORA and MiCAR.
A passionate advocate for AI and blockchain governance, I frequently speak at international conferences, sharing insights on digital risk, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. My diverse expertise enables me to support organizations in building resilience and trust in the digital era.
