Director of Global Strategy and Business Development

Accomplished and versatile leader with more than 23 years domestic and global experience in diplomacy, international exchanges, crisis management, human resources management, and business development. My passion is combining people, policy, and business to transform lives and communities for the better.
I am a former Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State with assignments in Taiwan, Nigeria, Mainland China, Guyana, Burkina Faso, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Congress, and Washington, DC. In DC, I served as a Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, Country Director for Ghana and Guinea, Senior Advisor and Instructor for Asia and Africa at the Foreign Service Institute, Pandemic Crisis Response Officer, and Program Officer for East Africa.
Overseas, I served in various leadership roles managing multi-million dollar projects and leading foreign national teams in fast-paced, high-stress environments. Whether traveling by boat to dedicate a pumping well to a hospital in Guyana, negotiating with the government of China to liberalize their construction and insurance markets, or leading global exchange programs, I connect people and ideas to advance peace, prosperity, and mutual understanding.
