About

With more than 20 years of demonstrated leadership, project management, problem solving, and engineering experience in the United States Navy, I specialize in Diving, Salvage, and Shipyard Operations. I have overseen the successful management of all facets of engineering, salvage operations, underwater ship’s husbandry and repair operations, as well as shipyard production, maintenance and repair operations. I am a dedicated and involved leader who builds, supports and motivates multi-functional teams.

Mission Critical Accomplishments

  • Successfully completed final post-refueling complex overhaul outfitting, training and certifications leading to a homeport shift of USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73) back to Yokosuka, Japan as the Navy’s only forward deployed aircraft carrier.

  • Delivered the first SPY-6 capable Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, USS JACK H LUCAS (DDG 125).

  • Led a 32-person project team responsible for all nuclear work associated with a #263M mid-life Engineered Refueling Overhaul for a Trident-class submarine, leading to an on-time completion of two key events.

  • Hand-picked for #36M ex-USS GUARDIAN salvage from Tubbataha Reef, leading multi-national team of salvage dive teams while providing on-scene operational control of six U.S. Navy and seven contract salvage support vessels. Integrated an 8-person military salvage diving team with a 10-person contractor salvage team supporting the $1.3M refloating of ex-USS SHADWELL, a NRL Advanced Fire Test ship; successfully installing over 25 major patches and pumping over 4,500 tons of water to right the ship 8.75 degrees.
