Deputy Under Secretary for Science in the U.S. Department of Energy (2018-2021). As Deputy to the Under Secretary for Science (S4), served on the senior staff that oversaw the operations of the Office of Science, the Office of Artificial Intelligence and Technology, the Office of Technology Transitions, the Office of Legacy Management, and the Office of Environmental Management. Also served as senior liaison to or working group member with other DOE and NNSA components and worked closely with the Secretary’s office, with requisite high-level clearances.
Prior to DOE service, was a partner in the Washington, DC, office of a leading global law firm. After DOE service, became chief executive officer for a Texas-based nonprofit organization.
