About

Originally from Buffalo, NY, I have lived and worked in Metro DC since 2003, first as a third-party contractor with the State Department, then for more than 18 years as a direct-hire federal employee. Along the way, I’ve been a father to two fantastic teenagers, renovated two historic homes, and run the official fan club for the Buffalo Bills here in Washington. I’m a former Eagle Scout who volunteers with Scouting as an adult, a percussionist who plays with the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra, and a travel afficionado who has had the opportunity to visit 88 countries and 35 U.S. states. I currently live in DC’s Petworth neighborhood, where I dote on my large goldendoodle and my orchestra-conductor partner, cheer at my daughter’s high school track meets, and root for my son as he starts his college career at the University of Maryland.
